Along with the adjacent national
park and the grounds of The Swag (including various trails that lead to a
pond, waterfall, and various “hideaways” with views, hammocks,
privacy), the other “places” that keep returning guests coming
back for more are the varied accommodations options. Ranging from
far-from-standard “rooms” to entire cabins, all of the offerings
are upscale rustic. In-room amenities can include: steam shower, copper soaking
tub, dry sauna, fireplace, wet bar, whirlpool tub, and a private deck with
an outdoor shower.
Dining is an entirely gourmet experience from the leisurely communal breakfast buffet to the delectable box lunches for hiking trips and daily outings to the sumptuous hor d’ourves and three-course dinners to the weekly picnic lunch atop Gooseberry Knob The Swag takes dining (and their location) to new heights.
